Green Monkey Eco-Tours is offering a memorable cultural experience with Qualified teachers and guides to several breath taking locations along the Pacific Coast of Nicaragua and island of Ometepe.
Our goal is to incorporate optional periods of stretching/Yoga while participants enjoy various adventures hiking, kayaking,swimming, horseback riding and touring to visit local family plantations (tobacco, coffee), schools, island orphanage, museums and our friends.
We have carefully chosen your accommodations and services with those who support nourishing mind and body and healthful organic foods.
Upon completion of your journey it is our intention to have provided you with the ecological, historical,educational and cultural surroundings necessary to create a new awareness for you. A healthy feeling of accomplishment with each excursion adding a different dimension to your experience!

Arrive in Managua, tour Granada

Yoga Instructor
Marlisa Smith is a Kripalu Certified yoga instructor (CPR Certified) with 15 years of instructional experience. Her studies of CranioSacral Therapy have guided her instruction toward an emphasis on healing through deep release, emphasizing ease of breath and proper alignment. Her earlier years as a committed athlete bring a strong level of fitness to her instruction.
She lived as a wife, mother, and naturalized citizen of Iceland for nearly 2 decades where she worked as a Whale Watching guide. She has also worked as a commercial lobster man along side her grandfather in her native town of Stonington, CT., where she presently resides.
Her travels include the Eastern coastal United States, Northern California, Dominican Republic, British Isles, Continental Europe, Morocco, Egypt, and Israel.
